How do I use the Classroom Tools? (back)

Simply select the words you want to present in sets of six and then click the Multimedia Flash Cards to: reveal the picture (elicit what the word could be in the learners' language), show the optional translation (confirm the learners' guesses), show the English word, play the pronunciation (practice pronunciation), show an example sentence and play it being spoken by a native-speaker child (practice the sentence).

What can I do with the Classroom Tools? (back)

Present any of the 1,000+ Multimedia Word Cards:

• show the written word
• play a native-speaker teacher saying the word
• show an illustration
• show an example sentence
• play it being spoken by a native speaker child
• show the word translated into the learners' first language (optional)

Use the Classroom Tools to:

• present or pre-teach words to the class
• revise vocabulary
• drive any number of other classroom activities

Are the Classroom Tools easy to use? (back)

The tools have been carefully designed to be very easy to use by teachers and children alike.

Do the WORDREADY® Classroom Tools work on all digital whiteboards? (back)

The Classroom Tools have been tested on Promethean (http://www.prometheanworld.com/) and Smart (http://www.smartboard.co.uk/) digital whiteboards. We have had no reports of problems on any other boards.
