Each subscription must contain a starter pack and as many additional licences (in multiples of 10 or 50) as the school requires. One user licence is required for each learner as the learning in personalised based on learner performance. For example, a school with 80 learners would buy a School starter pack, a 50 user expansion pack and two 10 user expansion packs for a cost of £325.00 (+VAT where applicable). |

When I order WORDREADY® what am I buying? (back)
Customers buy a 12-month subscription for a number of individual user licences (one licence for each learner). WORDREADY® is an online web-based resource, and is accessed in a browser from any internet-enabled computer meeting the recommended requirements.
For each subscription we provide access to Management Tools. These allow an administrator to manage the user accounts and, for school subscriptions, set up teacher accounts through easy-to-use tools. The administrator and teachers can also use the Management Tools to track the learners online.
With school subscriptions, we are also currently offering free Classroom Tools that have over 1,000 Multimedia Flash Cards and games for use in the classroom.
Am I buying software to install on my machine? (back)
No, WORDREADY® is an online web-based resource, and is accessed in a browser from any internet-enabled computer meeting the recommended requirements. Use of WORDREADY® is on a 12-month subscription basis. Learner profiles are stored on our server to keep them safe and allow access from anywhere.
How can I order WORDREADY®? (back)
Order online through our secure pages. We accept MasterCard and Visa for immediate payment or issue a pro forma invoice for other payment methods (Bank Transfer, Bankers' Draft, Cheque or MasterCard and Visa by phone). Go to the Buy page to start the order process on our secure eCommerce site.

How can I pay for WORDREADY®? (back)
You can use credit/debit card, bank transfer (e.g. BACS), cheque or banker's draft for direct sales, or through one of our distributors (see the Buy page for a full list).
How many licences do I need to buy? (back)
WORDREADY® licenses are not tied to individual computers. A licence is needed for each individual user who can then use WORDREADY® on any computer with an internet connection. You will need one licence for each of the learners that will be using WORDREADY® (e.g. if you have three classes of 20 learners, you will need 60 licences).
What if I want a large number of licences? (back)

Is WORDREADY® available on CD-ROM? (back)
No, WORDREADY® is only available as an online resource.
There are several good reasons for this:
- Flexibility - WORDREADY® can be accessed from anywhere on the internet. This means that learners can work from home, school, library, etc.
- Security - learner data is stored securely online and there is no risk of loss of data due to loss, theft, computer failure, etc.
- Cost - because we are not distributing CD-ROMs, costs can be kept low - it's more affordable for you.
- Maintenance - any updates to the software can be distributed automatically - no need for maintenance by users.
Can I trust L2 with my payment? (back)
Yes, L2 operates very strict privacy policies and all customer order details are stored securely.
Credit/debit card details are not stored by L2. Our payment partners are Protx and Barclaycard.
We are members of the SafeBuy Assurance Scheme for web-based retailers.
What is the difference between a home and school subscription? (back)
WORDREADY® can be used both at home and at school. However, schools purchasing a subscription for 10 or more licences are offered more payment options than individuals. They will also be given free access to WORDREADY® Classroom Tools - to use Multimedia Flash Cards and games in the classroom.
